Hair is an integral part of women, though men could have hair related issues, too. Earlier, it was effortless to walk into a store and pick products and walk out. Now, things are complicated and the market is crowded with plenty of products. We hardly understand what we need and what we don’t! They say hair care products, then styling products, then styling care products and what not! But, what are essentials? You’re the best person to decide what you need, according to your liking or requirements.

The products differ with one’s hair type or problems. If you have healthy locks, you’ll need a good hair oil, gentle shampoo and conditioner. In case you have wavy locks, you might need something to tame your hair, whereas, for damaged hair, additional care is needed. So, it is all about what your hair needs and what will suit it best.Regardless of your hair type, hair oil is essential. You could buy one that’s lighter if you don’t prefer a greasy look. But, you can’t skip oil. In this modern era, we all ignore oil and think it is old-fashioned or greasy. Oil restores lost moisture, offers nourishment, repairs damaged hair and also stimulates hair growth. Before I take hair shower, I always apply oil and leave it for around an hour. I apply light oil like Argan, after shower and my hair is dry. I apply it before venturing out, so pores are still open and clean to receive the oil.I prefer a leave-in hair conditioner for my hair. Yes, it is gentle compared with wash-off conditioner and will also, nourish and shine my hair. Yes, it doesn’t restore lost moisture alone, but adds a nice shine to my hair. In case your hair is damaged due to styling or heat, conditioner is a must. I apply a very mild shampoo, so my hair’s nutrients and moisture are retained. Harsh or chemical laden shampoos can rip-off moisture and nourishment, besides damaging the hair. I choose daily use shampoo, though I wash my hair 2 – 3 times a week I use a wide-toothed comb for detangling my wavy hair and normal comb for regular combing, but both are wooden combs I don’t use brush, nor a hair dryer. I rarely use it without heat, when am out for occasion and make use of a protective product to avert hair damage I use Argan based hair nourishment products as they’re light, nutrient-rich, restore and rejuvenate my hair and promotes long and lustrous locks. They’re the best nourishment for hair and do a good job at easing frizz. When you stick to these basics, your hair will love you back and grow out long and strong. That’s what we women want right? These tips work for men too and men with hair loss issues can definitely give this a try – of course, with a few tweaks, to fit your style.
